Wilderness Skills: Shelter Building

  • 4960 Gann Store Road Chattanooga, TN, 37343 United States (map)

Join us for a day of shelter building as we continue our exciting and informative Wilderness Skills series!

Learning how to build an adequate shelter is a useful skill that every outdoor explorer should have. In addition to being a fun and enjoyable pastime, shelter building can also come in very handy in an unexpected survival situation. Each participating child will receive supplies they can use during the event and take with them to continue practicing their new wilderness skill at home.

***There is a $10 fee for each participating child to cover the cost of supplies, and a limited number of spots are available. Though all ages are welcome, kids will need to be able to pay attention and adhere to all safety guidelines so please take your individual child's abilities into account before registering.
